Roomshala — Terms & Conditions
Pay at Hotel Bookings — Please read carefully before proceeding.
1. Nature of Service
Roomshala ("we", "our", "us") is an online accommodation discovery and booking platform that connects guests with independent hotels, guest houses, and homestays. We act only as a facilitator for reservations. All bookings made through Roomshala are Pay at Hotel, meaning guests pay directly at the property during check-in or check-out.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. You agree to provide accurate and complete information while booking.
3. Booking Policy
Once a booking is made, a confirmation message or email will be sent to the registered contact details. Your booking is considered confirmed once the hotel accepts it. Please carry a valid government ID proof at check-in. Roomshala does not guarantee room availability if the guest fails to arrive on time or provides incorrect details.
4. Payments
Roomshala does not collect any payment on its website or app. All payments are to be made directly to the hotel, as per the property’s own policy (cash, card, UPI, or advance if requested). Roomshala will never ask for payment through any unofficial link, message, or call. Guests should make payments only to the verified hotel or property contact provided in the booking confirmation.
5. Cancellations & Modifications
Guests can cancel or modify bookings as per the property’s individual policy. Roomshala does not charge any cancellation fee; however, the property may apply its own rules. For cancellation or change requests, please contact the property directly or reach out to Roomshala support.
6. No-Show Policy
If the guest fails to arrive without prior notice, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking. Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions on your account.
7. Hotel Responsibilities
The listed hotels are responsible for providing the accommodation and services as described in their listings. Roomshala is not liable for the quality, cleanliness, or safety of any property. Any complaints regarding stay or service must be addressed directly with the property.
8. Guest Responsibilities
Provide genuine information while booking. Respect hotel policies regarding check-in/check-out, damages, and conduct. Avoid any misuse of Roomshala’s platform or submitting fake bookings.
9. Reviews & Feedback
Guests may post reviews based on their genuine stay experience. Roomshala reserves the right to remove fake, offensive, or misleading reviews.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, and branding belong to Roomshala. No content may be copied, reused, or modified without written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
Roomshala is not responsible for any dispute, loss, damage, or service issue between the guest and the property. Our responsibility ends once booking details are shared and confirmed.
12. Privacy
Guest details are collected only to facilitate bookings and communication. We do not share or sell personal data without consent. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information.
13. Changes to Terms
Roomshala may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.
